But for shooting enthusiasts across the world, the gauntlet to be thrown down and test your worth as a marksman is the challenge of Extended and Ultra Long-Range shooting.
With locations boasting ranges of up to 3,200m, the One Mile Club is Europe’s largest international EXLRS (Extended Long-Range Shooting) group, providing shooters with unique opportunities to test their skills and network with likeminded sharpshooters.

Under expert supervision, the One Mile Club’s EXLRS events are amongst Europe’s most premier settings for you to stretch what you thought possible with a rifle in your hands.
For those who are yet to try these extreme distances it can seem daunting, but with the help of some of Europe’s top shooters and the latest and greatest equipment available to use, you might surprise yourself.
Up for grabs at each EXLRS event is the coveted ‘One Mile Patch’. This is awarded only to the most precise of shooters who have been able to consistently hit steel at a distance of 1,600 meters (one mile). Our members wear this with pride, knowing most amateur shooters will never test themselves at that distance, let alone hit with consistent accuracy.
Join the One Mile Club for an Extended Long-Range shooting event and leave with fond memories, new skills, and maybe – just maybe – that One Mile Patch.
2. Meet new people
For many, finding likeminded people who share their love of shooting isn’t always easy. We firmly believe that an experience shared is an experience doubled, which is why the One Mile Club is designed to help do just that.
Bringing together shooting enthusiasts from more than 11 different countries across Europe, the One Mile Club plays host to not only some of the most prestigious marksman minds, but to some truly welcoming and personable people.
Whether it’s sharing expert tips to help you reach that One Mile Patch, discussing the latest gear releases or just cracking jokes, there’s never a dull moment. We don’t stand for discrimination, bullying or boasting – we’re all here to enjoy the sport we love.

The Extended Long Range Shooting (EXLRS) One Mile Club is a group of international long range shooters from more than 13 European countries. We have a strong passion for shooting, specifically extended long range where we push our rifles to hit steel at (extreme) long range.
We strongly believe in the One Mile Club’s comradery where making friends, sharing knowledge, having fun together is the most important. No “big egos” here, just a strong passion for shooting, pushing ourselves and the shooters to reach their goals. And not to forget: celebrate everyone’s achievements with a well-deserved drink or even better, with our ‘300RUM-rum-coke’ tradition drink. (You will see this tradition soon enough when you join our event(s)!). Another well-known tradition are our achievement-patches, if you able to hit the target a long range.. Then you get the patch and become a patch-member! These sought after patches are not for sale, can not be traded.. they can only be earned.
Founded in 2009 by Pieter and Harry our Extreme Long Range journey has led us to the most beautiful shooting locations all over Europe: Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, France and even Norway. Our Instructors
We are proud to run our shoots with some of the most capable instructors that Europe has to offer. They bring the most valuable skills from both the military and the civilian shooting scene, creating a blend where the best long range practices meet. We are truly fortunate to have them aboard.
Fabio, Dave, Coen ‘CJ’ and Jethro have a solid precision shooting background from the military. Most are retired snipers and all of them are designated marksmen. Serving overseas in deployments and as professional shooting instructors; they bring a wealth of knowledge.
Harry and Pieter are the founders of the One Mile Club. It all started as a dream, fantasizing about shooting beyond 1.000 meters and when the Dutch military range ‘Harskamp’ closed it’s gates for civilian shooters we had to find a different location to shoot. Not long after that Harry found a majestic place called Raboulet in France. This beautiful spot in southern France offered targets up to 1.600 meter and grew to be ‘The Home of the One Mile Club’. Not long after that we were invited to shoot in Italy and the UK and the One Mile Club started to grow really fast attracting the most passionate shooters from all over Europe. Combined with a very friendly atmosphere our shooting events became the highlight of the year for most shooters (don’t tell that to our wives). Fast forward to present day, where EXLRS patch member shooters win medals at competitions including the King of 2 Miles. It is a dream come true and we intend to grow even further.
“Praecisiam, Diutius, Magis Accurata” – more precise, further away, more accurate. This is the One Mile Club’s mantra.
